This single is a stark contrast from their last single, How You Doin’, a neo-soul, boom bap track highlighting their vulnerability, survivor’s guilt, and pain. ENEMY features hard knocking kicks that reverberate through your chest with heavy, melodic sub-bass home to witty, hardcore, bars filled with blasphemous biblical metaphors and anime and horror references. Cunty mastered a gritty raw delivery over booming production that puts your body into a trance. The beat violently moves you to exorcise the projections and lies placed onto the body by the State, Church, and dogma.
