Cunty MeMe (they/them) proudly releases, ENEMY, a self-produced, gritty, house-punk inspired, rave banger! This single is a stark contrast from their last single, How You Doin’, a neo-soul, boom bap track highlighting their vulnerability, survivor’s guilt, and pain. ENEMY features hard knocking kicks that reverberate through your chest with heavy, melodic sub-bass home to witty, hardcore, horrorcore bars filled with blasphemous biblical metaphors and anime references. Cunty mastered a gritty raw delivery over booming production that puts your body into a trance. The beat violently moves you to exorcise the projections and lies placed onto the body by the State, Church, and dogma.

This song is for those who walk with an army around them in spirit, and they are ready to protect themselves and the future of those they love by any means necessary. This is for those who seem to always find themselves being villainized for being themselves and speaking their truth. No more sitting in the shadows in silence and fear. Cunty MeMe, a Chicago-based artist with an East Coast flair, pays homage to the Chicago house and punk sound with a gritty delivery and gnarly kicks. ENEMY will grace the ears of listeners on Easter Sunday, April 9th, 2023.
