College Organizing 101
In this workshop, we will be looking at how to effectively build a mass movement on a college campus. Step by step we will look at the many ways college organizers can bring to light the issues plaguing their campuses while connecting them to the issues, concerns, and plights of the communities around their campus and in the nation. We will learn how to think globally and act locally on our college campuses and leverage our resources to help community organizers and organizations. I will share my own experiences as well as strategic tactics. The fee for this workshop can be lowered if campus organizations pledge to aid mutual aid programs in the communities around them.
